Baler Operator
The Baler Operator is responsible for operating tractors and baling equipment to efficiently harvest hay and straw across large acreages. This role is critical to ensuring high quality bales are produced in a timely manner during peak season.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate tractor and baler equipment safely and efficiently in field conditions

Monitor bale quality, density, and consistency

Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
-
Adjust baler settings based on crop conditions
-
Communicate with team members to maintain smooth field operations

Work long hours during peak harvest periods, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:

Experience operating agricultural equipment preferred
-
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor issues

Strong work ethic and ability to work long, physically demanding hours
-
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Valid driver’s license required
Truck Driver
The Truck Driver is responsible for hauling bales from the field to the yard in a safe and timely manner. This role supports continuous field operations by ensuring efficient transport during harvest.
Key Responsibilities:

Transport straw bales from field locations to the yard
-
Safely operate trucks and trailers under varying road and field conditions
-
Secure loads properly and ensure safe hauling practices
-
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
-
Coordinate with field operators to maintain efficient workflow
-
Work extended hours during peak season
Requirements:

Valid driver’s license
-
Experience hauling agricultural products or similar loads is an asset
-
Strong awareness of safety and road regulations
-
Ability to handle long hours and physically demanding work
-
Reliable and able to work independently
Stacker Operator
The Stacker Operator is responsible for stacking bales in the field and loading them onto trucks for transport. This role ensures efficient handling and organization of bales during harvest.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate stacker equipment to gather and stack bales in the field
-
Load trucks efficiently and securely for transport to the yard
-
Maintain organized bale stacks to maximize space and accessibility
-
Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance
-
Work closely with baler operators and truck drivers to keep operations running smoothly
-
Work long hours during peak harvest season
Requirements:
-
Experience operating loaders, stackers, or similar equipment preferred
-
Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions
-
Mechanical aptitude is an asset
General Labourer
This role includes helping with straw baling, pellet production, and loading trucks. It’s hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced agricultural setting with a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks.
